Copyfree Licenses

The Copyfree Initiative makes no representations of the legal rigor or effectiveness of certified licenses. The certification of licenses is dependent only on the apparent intent of the license as manifest in the language of its explicit terms. Determining the legal suitability of each license for use when selecting a specific license is the responsibility of the licensor, and determining the effective applicability of a specific license's terms when choosing to accept it is the responsibility of the licensee.
