Notes:
Three major forms of the BSD License family are certified copyfree licenses: the "Original BSD License", the "New BSD License", and the "Simplified BSD License". More explicit reference to these licenses, as well as other version-specific licenses, is being planned for the certified licenses list.
The following licenses are under consideration:
- Open Game License: Some ambiguity and far-reaching implications of the definition of a "derivative" work in the OGL threaten the license's certification as a copyfree license. Comments are welcome.
